Brief
summary of duties of Sidemen
-
Please
try to arrive at church at least 20 minutes before the
10.30am service and 15 minutes before the 8am Service.
-
Check
with Rector which books are to be used.
-
Welcome
worshipers and give out books
-
Take
the collection and bring it to the Communion Table.
-
Count
the collection after the service completing the
appropriate slip
-
When
it is Communion at 10.30am.

a)
Control the flow of people coming to receive
Communion
b)
One should be at the chancel step to offer “help”
as people go up and down this step
|
- Clear
up the books and put them away.
