Art Prize at Hurworth Primary School

Rachel Alban gained an unexpected art prize at the end of her final term at Hurworth Primary School Sponsored by HMS Hurworth, the prize was given to a year six pupil, who has contributed notable artwork during their time at the school. Besides receiving the HMS Hurworth art cup, Rachel and her family have been invited to go aboard the ship next time it is in Hartlepool

A view of the All Saints Church and of the Lychgate are examples of her many paintings. These two pictures have been made up into notelets for sending messages and ‘thank you’ notes to friends. They make excellent presents for young and old alike. All the proceeds will be donated to Church Funds.
